Meditation Centre

 

Those in search of a quiet moment of reflection are welcome in the Mediation Centre.  This place of worship can be found on the upper level of Lounge 2/3 between the E and F piers.  The centre is open from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and during office hours a chaplaincy worker is normally present.  All are welcome regardless of their religious or non-religious background.  Follow the signs indicating "Mediation Centre"; these signs are also marked with a pictogram.

The Meditation Centre has three rooms:

  • A quiet room for individual prayer, meditation and reflection - or simply to find some peace and quiet.  Groups with their own minister are welcome to hold short services here.  The airport chaplaincy holds a church service in this room every Sunday at 11:00 a.m., at which all are welcome.
  • A reading room with books, magazines and other material covering a range of issues and questions of personal spirituality.
  • A meeting room where visitors can drop in for a talk with one of the staff.
